Careers

At Journal Technologies (JTI), we believe technology can be a force for good by supporting the proper and efficient functioning of one of society’s most foundational institutions: the justice system.

We create and implement enterprise software that supports the administration of justice, currently in the United States, Canada, and Australia. While our eSeries product suite enables governments and their employees to deliver continued foundational court processes, our R&D focuses on leveraging emerging possibilities with technology to improve access and efficiency.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, Journal Technologies is a long-time, wholly-owned subsidiary of Daily Journal Corporation (NASDAQ: DJCO). We also have a major office in Logan, Utah, a team in Australia, an office in Victoria, Canada and a growing number of remote staff across North America and the world.

Great people want to collaborate with great people, and we are actively looking for smart, motivated people who care deeply about the work they do. If this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you.

A Note About Your Application

We want to get to know you, not a perfectly polished version of you created by generative AI. Our recruiters personally review every application: we don't rely on AI to screen resumes or decide who moves forward.

When you submit your resume and cover letter, make sure they are a genuine reflection of your experience, skills, accomplishments, and personality. We aren't looking for perfect wording or the right buzzwords. We want to understand what you've actually done, what you're great at, and what you could bring to our team.

AI can be a useful tool, but your application should still sound like you. Authenticity will stand out here far more than an AI-generated application.
